I stayed for a week at La Torre.
The structure is architecturally unique and very beautiful; the rooms are slightly 1980s style, but the cleanliness, attention to detail, and courteous staff make for a special holiday. A professional reception that pampers the guest and seeks to resolve every need, bridging any structural gaps. Rich and complete breakfast, a stone’s throw from the center and the ski lift departures. The staff is extremely helpful in meeting guest requests with courtesy and professionalism.
As the title suggests, the hotel is the only one on Sestriere’s main street, literally just steps from the ski slopes.
We only stayed for one night in the summer, but it felt warm and cozy with plenty of exposed wood. The rooms are spacious with large, very comfortable beds. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, and for one of Sestriere’s premier hotels, it offers excellent value for money.
