Experience an unforgettable holiday in Cervinia

Cervinia is one of the most renowned ski resorts in the Alpine arc. Its ski facilities are linked with Zermatt on the Swiss side of the Matterhorn, as well as with Valtournenche, forming a vast ski area with over 350 km of slopes, known as the Matterhorn Ski Paradise—not far from the famous Monterosa Ski area.

Thanks to its high altitude, the ski season extends from early November to early May. Summer skiing is also possible on the Plateau Rosa glacier, accessible through the Swiss lifts.

In summer, guests can play golf at the Cervino Golf Club, an 18-hole course that sits among the highest in the world, at 2,050 meters. During the winter, the golf course trail is transformed into a cross-country skiing track.
Breuil-Cervinia is also a starting point for alpine climbs of the Matterhorn, a peak that holds a special place in the history of European mountaineering in the Alps, as well as for medium- and high-altitude hiking trails.

In summer, downhill biking can be enjoyed on well-equipped trails. The popular Maxiavalanche competition takes place around August, where participants descend from the 3,500-meter-high Plateau Rosa glacier down to Breuil-Cervinia. Cycling is also prominent, as Breuil-Cervinia has hosted a Giro d’Italia stage finish five times.

    Il Petit Palais is an excellent hotel on the slopes over Cervinia, offering a beautiful view of Cervinia. It has a large bar and lounge area perfect after a long, hard day of skiing, it’s just around the corner from the Plan Maison cable car and the nearby ski school. Plus, down town Cervina is just a 10 minute downhill walk.
